Look Up

Verse
Seven-thirty glowing on the dash
Another red light, still moving to fast
Bills keep piling, falling behind
Wrong side of life stuck on my mind

Pre-Chorus
Sunset caught my eye
Been looking the wrong way all this time

Chorus
Look up, watch the whole sky turn to gold
Look up, there’s a story being told
Look up, let the daylight hit your face
Look up, there’s a little Heaven in this place
You might find what you’ve been missing when
You look up every now and then

Verse
There’s a few old voices I still hear
Funny how they still can feel so near
Old memories take me back there
For a moment, they’re still here

Pre-Chorus
Staring at the floor
I remember what I’m looking for

Chorus
Look up, let the silence say their names
Look up, love can find us just the same
Look up, where the dark gives way to light
Look up, they’re somewhere waiting just out of sight
You might find what you’ve been missing when
You look up every now and then

Bridge
There’s more above me than I can see
More than this world can take from me
If they’re with You, they’re not gone
And I know where my heart belongs

Chorus
Look up, there’s a hand behind it all
Look up, He’s been there through every fall
Look up, when the road gets hard to see
Look up, He’s still right there standing next to me
That’s where my searching finally ends
When I look up every now and then

Outro
I have to remind myself again
To look up every now and then
